Bear Creek Boarding Co. is named for Bear, our late Australian shepherd. He didn't get along with other dogs, and he deserved better than a crowded kennel, but finding boarding built for a dog like him was difficult. That experience shaped everything we do today.

We're the Deschambault family, and we've built the place we wished existed for Bear. Keeping dogs separate from each other is the whole design, because of him. Our home sits on five acres in Lake Stevens, with room to run, a creek to splash in, and soccer balls and tennis balls always within reach. Jason is home full time running Bear Creek, so your dog isn't left alone waiting for someone to get back. They're supervised, included, and part of the day.

We follow your dog's routines closely, from special diets and medications to exercise schedules and extra cuddle time. Playful puppies, anxious dogs, senior pets who need a little more patience, we've cared for them all. Every dog gets their own space and their own turn on the property, and no dog is ever put together with another family's dog.
