Boarding that doesn't involve other dogs
Most boarding sells socialisation. Group play, pack walks, a yard full of dogs having a great time. For a large number of dogs that picture is the problem rather than the appeal, and their owners end up choosing between a facility that isn't right and not travelling.
We only do the other version. Your dog gets their own space out of sight and earshot of any other dog, their own time on the five acres, and the rest of the day with us. Nobody is introduced to anybody.
Where we stop
We take dogs who struggle with other dogs. We can't take dogs who struggle with people, dogs with a bite history toward a person, or dogs formally designated dangerous, because we have young children at home. If that's your dog, get in touch anyway and we'll point you toward someone who specialises in it.
How we board
Every family of dogs gets a space of their own, either a room in the house or one of the separate runs in our heated garage. Dogs from different families are never introduced and never share the yard at the same time. We don't make exceptions, including for dogs both owners describe as friendly.
That rule is what makes us workable for a dog who finds other dogs stressful, and it's why we can promise the same thing to every owner who books.
Getting here from Arlington
We're south of Arlington in Lake Stevens. Text us and we'll give you the quickest route down. Drop-off and pick-up are by arrangement and scheduled so families don't overlap.
What it costs
$60 a night for one dog, plus $40 a night for each additional dog from the same household. A $15 nightly surcharge applies over holiday periods. Full rates.
