For a dog who has never had to share
Plenty of dogs around Snohomish grow up with acreage, their own space, and a routine that doesn't involve strange dogs at all. Then their family travels, and the only options are a facility built around group play or a run in a building full of barking.
For those dogs the adjustment isn't the absence of their own home, it's the sudden presence of fifteen dogs they didn't ask to meet. We remove that part entirely. Your dog is the only dog on the property during their outdoor time, and they never cross paths with another family's dog indoors either.
Farm dogs, working breeds, and dogs with a job
High-drive dogs don't relax in a kennel, they pace. There's enough room here to actually tire one out, and someone around to throw a ball for as long as they want it thrown. Dogs who'd rather patrol the fence line than fetch are welcome to do that instead.
How we board
Every family of dogs gets a space of their own, either a room in the house or one of the separate runs in our heated garage. Dogs from different families are never introduced and never share the yard at the same time. We don't make exceptions, including for dogs both owners describe as friendly.
That rule is what makes us workable for a dog who finds other dogs stressful, and it's why we can promise the same thing to every owner who books.
Getting here from Snohomish
We're north of Snohomish in Lake Stevens, a short drive up. Text us and we'll give you the route from your end. We set a drop-off window when you book and schedule it so no other family's dogs are arriving at the same time.
What it costs
$60 a night for one dog, plus $40 a night for each additional dog from the same household. A $15 nightly surcharge applies over holiday periods. Full rates.
